We want you to feel good about your choice to sign your child up for gymnastics with us. Before starting your gymnastics class, you may have a lot of questions - and we are here to help! Below are some reliable answers to the questions you may be wondering about. We hope you find them helpful.

How Many Weeks do Classes Run For?
Classes at NEAG run perpetually, rather than seasonally. This means, your lessons will continue until you choose to withdraw. We love watching students progress through our levels and develop to their highest potential!
When Can I Sign Up For Classes?
Anytime! Our classes are continuously running throughout the year. When you register for a class, your child's enrollment begins with the next scheduled class and continues until you choose to withdraw.
What is the Payment Schedule?
Class tuition is charged monthly, on the 1st of the month, to the card on file for your child’s account. If you're registering mid-month, your first tuition payment will be charged on the date you register, and will be pro-rated accordingly.
What if my Child Doesn't Like It?
If for any reason, you’re not completely satisfied after your first class, we’ll refund your tuition and membership fee-no questions asked. We want every family to feel confident and happy about their decision to choose us.
How Does it Work if I Need to Withdraw?
If at any time, you find your child needs to take a break from gymnastics, simply fill out a withdrawal form 30-days prior to your desired last class. We'll adjust your enrollment and tuition accordingly.
Is There a Membership Fee?
Yes. Our membership fee is $30, with a max of $90 per family, which covers each child for 1-year of class programing. Membership fees are charged yearly on each child’s anniversary month as long as they are still actively enrolled.
Can I Be Enrolled in One Class, but on the Waitlist for Another?
Absolutely! If your ideal class is full, you can stay on the waitlist while enrolled in another day/time. Once a spot becomes available, we can transfer you the very next class!
If I Need to Withdraw, Will My Spot Be Available When I Return?
While we can’t guarantee that your spot will be available in the same class, we’ll do everything we can to work with your schedule and preferences. We recommend you remain enrolled even if you do miss a few classes. We offer makeups for the classes you do miss and your child will benefit from some gymnastics practice rather than none.
How Do I Register?
New families can register fully online using our web registration form. Families who already have an account can register quickly and easily through the Parent Portal.
How Long Are Classes?
The length of our classes depends on the level - Wee Peas and One Peas are 30 minutes long, Two Peas and Three Peas are 45 minutes long, and all other classes are 60-minutes long. Advanced recreational classes are 60-minutes and meet 2X/week.
What Should My Child Bring to Class?
We recommend leotards for girls, and fitted tanks or tees, paired with athletic-style shorts for boys. Hair should always be pulled back securely, jewelry removed, and feet bare. We also recommend bringing a water bottle to each session.
Do You Offer Sibling Discounts?
Yes! Your annual membership comes with benefits like a $10/month discount on siblings and discounts on multiple classes per week.
How Do I Change the Day and Time of My Lesson?
Our front desk staff are happy to assist in transferring students from one class to another.
What Happens if My Child Needs to Miss a Class?
If your child needs to miss a class for any reason, simply use our Parent Portal to submit an absence ahead of time. Absence submissions received prior to the missed class are eligible for a makeup class, which will be valid 1-year from the date they are accrued. Note that the child must be actively enrolled to be eligible to book makeup classes.
What Happens if My Child is More (or Less) Advanced Than Other Students in Their Class?
That's okay! It's common for children to have areas of gymnastics where they are more proficient than others. We are constantly evaluating students for proper class placement, and will work with each students strengths and weaknesses to ensure they feel accomplished and confident!
When Can My Child Join the Competitive Team?
Our competitive gymnastics team is by invitation only. Team members are handpicked by our coaching staff based on exceptional strength, flexibility, coachability, and skill level. Being selected is a special honor that reflects a gymnast’s dedication, talent, and hard work.
How Do I Know Which Level is Right for My Child?
Sweet Peas Educational Gymnastics classes are co-ed and exclusively age-based for students ages 6 months-5 years. Families may enroll their child for whatever group they fall into age-wise at the time of enrollment, regardless of experience level.
Recreational Gymnastics classes are broken down by gender, age, and ability level. For most children, Beginner 1 is the best class to start in. It will provide a comprehensive foundation on all events for skills, terminology, and safety. For students who already have recreational level experience, we offer free evaluations to place students accurately.
What Will My Child Learn in Your Classes?
A LOT! We are proud to offer some of the most comprehensive gymnastics programs around. The exact material taught will vary by class age and level, but all classes include an age-appropriate warm up, and event rotations including a mix of stations, circuits, and activities across a variety of events to give children the confidence to be the best they can be! How Many Children Are in Each Class?
Our student-teacher ratios are designed with safety in mind, and vary slightly by class. Wee Peas, One Peas, and Two Peas have a 1:10 ratio. Three Peas have a 1:6 ratio. Four Peas, Five Peas, and all Recreational Classes have a 1:8 ratio.
Do I Need to Attend Class With My Child?
For children under 3, a parent or caregiver must participate in class.
For children ages 3-5, we invite parents to observe class from the lobby area.
For children 6 and older, we invite parents to either watch class from the lobby area, or step out and return when class is finished.
