POLICIES & PROCEDURES
As of March 1st, 2022, the gym has instated a mask-optional policy. All individuals may wear a mask inside of the building at their discretion. This applies to students, staff, and families of all ages. The front desk will continue to have surgical masks in both adult and child sizes available upon request. We ask that all individuals please be respectful of others choices.
If you were exposed to Covid-19, but aren't showing symptoms:
If you are unvaccinated:
Quarantine 5 days. Take a rapid antigen, or PCR test on day 5. If negative, student may return to gym on day 6, but must wear a mask until day 10. If positive, student must continue quarantine until day 10, or until a negative test is provided.
If you are vaccinated:
No quarantine necessary. However, must wear a mask for 10 days. We recommend taking a rapid, or PCR test on day 5 out of precaution. If symptoms arise, follow protocols below.
If you were exposed to Covid-19, but have had confirmed Covid-19 within the past 90 days:
No quarantine necessary is asymptomatic. Wear a mask for 10 days. If symptoms arise, test and follow protocol for a symptomatic or positive test result.
If you tested positive for Covid-19, or have two or more Covid-19 symptoms: Quarantine for 5 day. Return to gym on day 6 as long as student has been symptom and fever free for 24 hours.
If you are experiencing symptoms, but have tested negative: Students may return to gym as long as they have been symptom and fever free for at least 24 hours, and present their negative Covid test.
New England Academy of Gymnastics does not require students to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to participate in any of it's programs. For camps, NEAG requires that students have all state mandated vaccines per the Massachusetts DPH (as do all public schools).
