Summer Camp Policies

REGISTRATION & REFUNDS
Registration for camp is done online on a first come, first-serve basis. Camp tuition is due in full at the time of registration. Cancellations received by July 1st are refundable, but subject to a $50 cancellation fee per camper, per session. After July 1st, no refunds or credits will be issued for cancelled or incomplete camp attendance. This includes extended care options. Transfers between sessions are subject to availability. All registration materials including any health forms, and a copy of the camper's most recent physical, vaccination records and any applicable payments must be received in order to complete the registration process. Failure to submit any of these items may result in the camper being unable to attend camp.
HEALTH SAFETY
All children attending camp must be cleared by their physician to fully participate in physical activity. Any child who is exhibiting signs of being unwell, such as fever, rash, diarrhea, sore throat, vomiting, or jaundice, or has any form of a communicable disease, should stay home from camp. If a child should begin exhibiting such symptoms while at camp, they will be isolated, and the parents/guardians will be called to pick them up. In regards to COVID-19, this camp will follow the most current guidelines set forth by MA Dept.of Public Health in regards to isolation and exposure. If a child is sent home from camp due to an injury or illness, they may be required to submit a doctors note prior to their return to camp. This camp must comply with all other regulations of the MDPH and be licensed by the Marlborough BOH. Parents have the right to review all camp policies at any time.
MEDICATIONS
All campers bringing medication to camp, including prescription, OTC, supplements, and topical medications, must have a Medication Authorization signed by a parent/guardian on file (available in the Camper Health Packet). All medications must be held by the camp Healthcare Supervisor during the camp day. No camper may store medication of any kind in their personal belongings. Medications must be in their original packaging and clearly labeled with the child's name, and will travel to and from camp with the child each day. NEAG will not hold medications overnight.
PICK-UP / DROP-OFF PROCEDURES
All campers must be signed in, and out of camp each day by an authorized adult. All parent contacts, and emergency contacts listed on the camper's account are automatically authorized to pick up from camp. Additionally, families should add any additional authorized individuals as an "authorized pickup" in the contacts section of their account.
BEHAVIOR AND SAFETY
The safety and well-being of all campers and staff at camp is our top priority. All campers must be able to understand and follow camp safety rules and staff instructions in order to participate. Campers are expected to behave respectfully, use equipment safely, and follow all safety guidelines. Unsafe, disruptive, or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated.
NEAG follows a 1–2–3 discipline policy for rule violations:
-
Verbal reminder of the rule and how to follow it
-
Time out from the activity, reminder of the rule, and warning
-
Meeting with the Camp Director and parent/guardian notification
NEAG reserves the right to dismiss any camper whose behavior is detrimental to the safety or overall good of the program. Dismissal may occur without refund.
